KSrelief Signs Agreement to Rehabilitate Earthquake-Damaged Homes in Aleppo

Aleppo: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed a cooperation agreement via video conferencing Sunday with a civil-society organization to implement the third phase of rehabilitating homes and providing shelter for families affected by the earthquake in Azaz, a district in Syria’s Aleppo Governorate.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement aims to rehabilitate 715 homes for families whose houses sustained minor to moderate damage from the earthquake and to equip 55 temporary housing units for those severely affected and left homeless.

Moreover, the project will provide essential utilities, including solar-powered electricity, modern water tanks, and proper ventilation. A total of 4,587 individuals will benefit from the initiative, which is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts through KSrelief to support earthquake victims in Syria and provide them with necessities for a dignified life.
