Hadhramaut: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday initiated the distribution of vocational toolkits to 381 young men and women who have recently completed a training program in Yemen’s Hadhramaut Governorate, specifically in the Al Mukalla District.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is part of a collaborative project with the UN World Food Programme (WFP) aimed at supporting vulnerable families through food aid and boosting their resilience. The project includes training programs in areas such as electrical and solar installations, maintenance of motorcycles, boats, and car electrical systems, as well as the production of cheese, dairy, detergents, soap, fish canning, and the creation of incense, perfume, and accessories.
Eng. Amin Barzeq, the Hadhramaut Governorate Undersecretary for Technical Affairs, expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and KSrelief for their continuous humanitarian and relief efforts throughout Yemeni governorates. He also emphasized the local authorities’ dedication to providing the necessary support to ensure the success of these initiatives.
The initiative signifies the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, through KSrelief, to improve the economic conditions and enhance the income of the most vulnerable populations in Yemen, thereby contributing to sustainable development.
