KSrelief Participates in High-Level Regional Meeting on Youth

Riyadh-- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) today virtually participated in the high level regional meeting on youth, which is held in Amman with joint organization between the International Labor Organization, UNDP and UNICEF.

The KSrelief was represented by Director of Partnership and International Relations Dr. Hana Omar who, during her participation in an interactive discussion panel titled "Power of partnerships", stressing that the KSrelief, out of its vision, works with its partners of UN, international and civil society organizations to take procedures that ensure that youth receive their full human rights and find solutions to problems facing the youth in general, and young girls and women in particular, such as fear, sexual exploitation, health, psychological and mental problems, and poverty, instead of just offering opportunities.

The meeting – held with the participation of youth, decision makers, private sector, UN agencies – aims to address means of connecting between education and labor market, which include improving educational systems, such as acquiring skills, vocational and technical education and training, enhancing policies, and exploring opportunities with the private sector to find jobs and support youth entrepreneurship.
