Sakaka: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Masam Project removed 1,181 explosives across Yemen during the second week of January 2026, including 1,114 items of unexploded ordnance, 61 anti-tank mines, four anti-personnel mines, and two improvised explosive devices. As a result, the total number of explosives removed in January reached 1,917, bringing the cumulative total cleared since the launch of the Masam Project to 531,868 across Yemen.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Arabia, through its humanitarian arm KSrelief, continues its explosive-clearance efforts aimed at enhancing civilian safety and supporting safer living conditions for Yemenis.
