KSrelief Distributes Thousands of Food Baskets in Yemen’s Al-Mahrah

Al-mahrah: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 4,320 food baskets to beneficiaries in Al-Mahrah Governorate, aiding 26,000 individuals. This distribution is part of the second phase of KSrelief's ongoing emergency food assistance project in Yemen.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Mahrah Deputy Governor Mukhtar Al-Jaafari acknowledged Saudi Arabia's efforts, represented by KSrelief, in bolstering food security for vulnerable groups. He emphasized the significance of this aid in easing the hardships faced by families in the region.

The project is designed to reach 100,000 families across several governorates, including Hadhramaut, Al-Mahrah, Shabwa, Socotra, Marib, Al-Jawf, Hajjah, and Saada.

This initiative is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's broader humanitarian and relief efforts through KSrelief, aiming to enhance food security, support basic needs, and alleviate living challenges in Yemen.
