Doha:Socotra The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed vocational tools and equipment to 75 women in Yemen's Socotra Governorate. These women recently completed a training course in dairy production, equipping them with new skills to enhance their livelihoods.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the distribution of equipment is a component of a broader project aimed at supporting livestock breeders and promoting household biogas production under the Bathraa Initiative. This initiative is designed to empower women with the resources needed to establish small dairy businesses, thus enabling them to make better use of the island's livestock resources.
This effort is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing humanitarian mission through KSrelief, which seeks to improve local livelihoods and encourage women's active participation in economic activities within their communities.
