Kingdom to Host Experts to Shape Future of Human Capacity in Education, Work in AI Era

Riyadh: Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is scheduled to organize tomorrow the International Conference on Data and AI Capacity Building (ICAN2026), which will run until January 29, at King Saud University in Riyadh, with the participation of experts from more than 50 international and local entities, alongside a number of academics and specialists in education and AI from various countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference, held in academic partnership with King Saud University, a knowledge partnership with the Human Capability Development Program, and a strategic partnership with Elm Company, represents a unique global platform that brings together a select group of decision-makers in education, experts, and academics from government entities, universities, and major technology companies. The conference will discuss the future of human capacity building in data and AI fields, explore the future of work and integration between humans and technology, and showcase the latest AI technologies in education and training.

The conference seeks to answer a key question of the current era: How can humans grow alongside AI? Experts and specialists in technology, education, and work will present their visions for harnessing AI technologies to serve humans and enhance their capabilities through education, aligning with labor market needs and embodying Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes investment in people to create a smarter and more prosperous future.
