Riyadh:The Journal of Linguistic Studies, published by King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, has achieved a top Q1 tier ranking in the field of Arabic language and literature in the Arab Citation and Impact Factor (ARCIF) 2026 report.
According to Saudi Press Agency, The journal successfully met all 32 ARCIF accreditation criteria, which adhere to international standards. In 2026, it recorded an impact factor of 0.0893, securing its position in the Q1 tier out of 105 journals specializing in Arabic language and literature. The average impact factor for the field was 0.082.
This achievement marks significant progress from 2024, when the journal had an impact factor of 0.0833 and ranked in the Q3 tier among 96 journals in the same domain, highlighting its continuous advancement in recent years.
