Riyadh: The King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication (KACCC) hosted a gathering on Monday for Saudi and foreign youths to share experiences regarding the concept of fasting and related traditions in various countries. Secretary General of the KACCC Abdullah AlFozan and Deputy Secretary General Ibrahim Al-Asimi attended the event, which took place as part of the Safeer Program.

According to Saudi Press Agency, AlFozan emphasized that the Safeer Program, which brings together young men and women from the Kingdom and other countries, enhances cultural communication among Saudi citizens and residents of diverse nationalities.

AlFozan stated that the program equips youth with effective skills for communication across cultures. It highlights shared human values, fosters coexistence, strengthens relationships, and promotes tolerance and openness to other cultures in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

Participants discussed common human values among different civilizations. Youth from both genders exchanged experiences regarding the concept of fasting, exploring religious and cultural traditions in various countries. They also learned about social customs and traditions in each community, including foods and Ramadan practices.
