Makkah: Vice Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Eng. Mansour Al-Mushaiti, visited the ministry’s branch in the Makkah Region to assess its operational readiness and plans for the Hajj season, 1446 AH. The visit focused on addressing challenges in service delivery across veterinary services, quarantine, markets, and slaughterhouses.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the inspection underscored the ministry’s commitment to ensuring high-quality services for pilgrims and maintaining an optimal environment in the holy sites. This reflects the Kingdom’s leadership in facilitating a safe Hajj experience. During the visit, the annual performance of the branch and the services provided to beneficiaries were also evaluated.

Al-Mushaiti highlighted the importance of continuous collaboration with both government and private sectors to serve the guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj and Umrah. He assured the availability of products in public markets that adhere to strict health and environmental standards. These markets are monitored around the clock by ministry inspectors to ensure public benefit.
