KFSHRC Competes in International Medical Event with Teams from North America

Louisiana: The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC) participated in the Doctor’s Dilemma competition at the American College of Physicians’ annual meeting in Louisiana. The event featured 60 teams from esteemed medical schools in the United States and Canada.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the KFSHRC team, led by internal medicine resident Dr. Fahad bin Mohammed Al Jabir, presented an interactive scientific display highlighting the skills of Saudi medical professionals. This participation enhanced the Kingdom’s presence on a global platform in the field of internal medicine.

Dr. Al Jabir noted the experience was remarkable, citing the consistent support from the Kingdom’s leadership for the healthcare sector. He emphasized the commitment to empowering national talents to engage in international medical forums, which aids in boosting the Kingdom’s reputation in various sectors.

KFSHRC has achieved significant recognition, being ranked first in the Middle East and Africa and 15th globally among the world’s top 250 academic medical centers for 2025. It was also acknowledged as the most valuable healthcare brand in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, as per the 2024 Brand Finance rankings. Additionally, Newsweek magazine ranked it among the world’s best smart hospitals for 2025.
