Riyadh: Chief Executive Officer of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC) Dr. Majid Alfayyadh welcomed Stefan Oelrich, Member of the Board of Management and President of the Pharmaceuticals Division at Bayer AG, at the hospital’s headquarters today.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the two parties explored potential collaboration opportunities in the fields of medical innovation, research and development, and advanced therapies. The meeting highlighted the potential for cooperation in biotechnology and advanced therapeutic solutions, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030’s goal to establish the Kingdom as a global leader in research and medical innovation.

KFSHRC has achieved significant recognition, being ranked first in the Middle East and North Africa and fifteenth globally among the world’s top 250 academic medical centers for 2025. It has also been acknowledged as the most valuable healthcare brand in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East by Brand Finance 2024. Furthermore, KFSHRC was listed among the world’s best smart hospitals for 2025 by Newsweek magazine.
