Riyadh: The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) and the University of Utah have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) establishing a framework for academic and research collaboration. The agreement aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and scientific expertise between the two institutions and to support the development of research and humanities studies in areas of mutual interest.
According to Saudi Press Agency, KFCRIS secretary-general Princess Maha bint Mohammed AlFaisal and University of Utah president Taylor Randall represented their respective sides at the signing. The MoU seeks to expand avenues of academic cooperation through the organization of joint academic activities, including lectures, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
The agreement is intended to invigorate research activity, facilitate the exchange of scholarly perspectives, and support the advancement of research in the humanities and knowledge-based studies. The memorandum will also encourage academic dialogue among faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students through discussion forums, scholarly meetings, and academic exchange programs.
