Riyadh: President of the General Court of Audit (GCA) Dr. Hussam Alagnari and Auditor General of the State Audit Office (SAO) of North Macedonia Maksim Acevski signed a memorandum of understanding at GCA's headquarters. This agreement is set to bolster cooperation in accounting, auditing, and professional practice through joint workshops and specialized training programs. Both entities are members of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU aims to enhance collaboration on topics of mutual interest, furthering their efforts in improving auditing standards and practices. Dr. Alangari reiterated GCA's commitment to expanding partnerships with peer organizations globally, highlighting the numerous agreements GCA has signed to assert its professional presence on both regional and international stages.

Acevski also commented on the significance of the MoU, stating that it will enhance cooperation between GCA and SAO, ultimately improving performance efficiency and the quality of audit work for both institutions.
