Amman: The Speaker of the Lower House of Representatives of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ahmed Safadi, received Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, marking the end of Al-Sudairi’s tenure in Jordan. The meeting underscored the strong relations between the two countries under their respective leaderships.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the officials emphasized the mutual solidarity and cooperation between Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Safadi expressed the House’s support for Saudi Arabia and its stance against any statements or actions that harm the Kingdom. He also expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its firm stance against proposals to relocate Palestinians to Jordan and Egypt.
Safadi strongly rejected statements made by the Israeli Prime Minister concerning Saudi Arabia, labeling them as violations of international law. Al-Sudairi reiterated Saudi Arabia’s backing of Jordan’s position on the issue of Palestinian displacement, stressing the need for unified efforts to defend Palestinian rights and to work towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty.
