Amman: The Jordanian government today welcomed the statement issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the recent developments in Yemen.

According to Saudi Press Agency, official spokesperson for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali, affirmed Jordan’s support for the efforts led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. These efforts are aimed at strengthening security and stability, advancing de-escalation, and promoting the political process in the Republic of Yemen.

Al-Majali emphasized the importance of concerted Arab and international efforts to achieve a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis. He noted that such a solution should bring an end to the crisis, ensure security and stability, safeguard Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity, and alleviate the suffering of its people.
