Jeddah Governor Attends Conclusion of Cybersecurity Exercise for Hajj 1447 AH

Jeddah: Under the patronage and on behalf of Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi attended today the conclusion of the Cybersecurity Exercise for the 1447 AH Hajj Season, organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA). The event was attended by NCA Governor Eng. Majed Al-Mazyed and officials from the public and private sectors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the exercise, the governor was briefed on NCA's efforts and strategic initiatives under the Cybersecurity Enhancement Program for the Hajj season. These initiatives aim to strengthen cybersecurity at the national level, enhance the readiness of participating entities, develop specialized national capabilities, and raise awareness among pilgrims and personnel.

These efforts contribute to delivering a comprehensive, reliable, and secure experience for pilgrims. The governor commended cybersecurity teams across participating national entities for their role in protecting vital interests and supporting national efforts to provide high-quality services to pilgrims.

At the conclusion of the event, the governor honored the winners of the technical exercise.
