Jazan University and TUM International Forge Partnership for Academic Advancement

Jazan: Jazan University signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Wednesday with TUM International GmbH, a subsidiary of the Technical University of Munich, to strengthen cooperation in academic and research fields and support the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

According to Saudi Press Agency, President of Jazan University Mohammad AbuRasain and CEO of TUM International GmbH Friederike Hettinger represented their respective sides during the signing. The MoU aligns with the principles of international cooperation in higher education and scientific research, expertise exchange, and the development of a sustainable knowledge- and economy-based partnership.

The MoU includes cooperation in several vital fields, most notably the development of education and academic programs through the exchange of curricula and study programs, as well as the introduction of specialized academic programs in industry, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The MoU reflects Jazan University's strategic direction toward strengthening its international and strategic partnerships. The university aims to enhance the academic, research, and developmental impact in support of the development priorities of Jazan Region and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
