Jazan: Jazan Region Municipality carried out more than 43,000 inspection tours during January 2026 as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance compliance with municipal regulations and improve public health and safety standards.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality said that the tours included 33,000 inspections of commercial activities and 10,000 construction-related inspections, in addition to handling and directly resolving 3,000 reported cases.

These efforts contributed to achieving 87% of the targeted inspection coverage, demonstrating the effectiveness of field monitoring plans and the municipality's commitment to improving service quality for beneficiaries.

The Jazan Region Municipality affirmed that inspection activities will continue year-round as part of plans to raise compliance levels, enhance urban environmental safety, and achieve local development goals.
