Jacaranda Race in Abha Draws Wide Community Participation

Riyadh: The Jacaranda Race kicked off yesterday in Abha, organized by the Ministry of Sport's Aseer Region branch, as part of programs that promote quality of life and physical activity.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the first day drew more than 1,500 participants of various ages, featuring a children's race and a 2 km community walk, in a lively atmosphere that reflected growing awareness of the importance of sports in daily life.

The marathon continues tomorrow with 10 km and 21 km routes, in addition to a 50 km route for runners, with broad participation.
