Islamic Affairs Ministry Distributes Tons of Dates to Germany and Portugal

Berlin: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has delivered the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift of dates to the Federal Republic of Germany and the Portuguese Republic on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in Germany, the handover took place yesterday at the Kingdom's embassy in Berlin, attended by representatives from various Islamic centers. A total of two tons of dates were delivered, projected to benefit approximately 8,000 individuals.

Similarly, in Portugal, the gift was delivered to the Saudi Embassy in Lisbon in the presence of officials from the local Islamic center. This distribution included three tons of dates, designated to benefit around 12,000 people.

These deliveries are part of a broader global initiative implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' date distribution program, which will reach 120 countries during Ramadan, reflects the Saudi leadership's ongoing dedication to supporting Muslims worldwide, fostering values of solidarity and compassion, and building strong community bridges globally.
