Jeddah: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh received Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments of the Republic of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed in Jeddah today. The meeting was marked by cordial discussions on various topics of mutual interest and explored avenues to bolster cooperation in Islamic affairs, focusing on promoting values of moderation, balance, and tolerance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al Alsheikh reiterated the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance's dedication to fostering collaboration and communication with Islamic bodies and institutions globally. He highlighted the significance of sharing expertise in mutual areas to serve Islam, endorse moderation and balance, and oppose extremism and radicalism.

Dr. Mohamed expressed his gratitude for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's endeavors in supporting Islam and Muslims worldwide.
