Baghdad, Iraq recorded 4,938 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), , in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 11,76980.

In a statement, the Iraqi Ministry of Health stated that 27 new deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of deaths to 16,241, while 4,279 new recoveries were recorded, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,090,891.
