The Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense, Jabbar Thujil Mutlaq Al-Haidari, discussed today, Thursday, with the State of Italy, bilateral relations and security and military cooperation between the two countries.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement, "The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense visited Italy to discuss bilateral relations, security and military cooperation, and the exchange of experiences between the two countries."

The statement added, "The Secretary-General, within the framework of his visit to the Republic of Italy, conducted a field tour to a number of companies related to the arms industry, to learn about the modern technologies used in the manufacture of weapons and ammunition.

The statement stressed, "This tour included a visit to Berta, the leading company in this field."
