Interior Ministry Warns Against Unauthorized Hajj

Riyadh: The Ministry of Interior has issued a warning against violating Hajj regulations by performing or attempting to perform Hajj without a permit. This warning is in effect from Dhu Al-Qi'dah 1 until the end of Dhu Al-Hijjah 14.

According to Saudi Press Agency, individuals who are caught performing or attempting to perform Hajj without a permit will face a fine of up to SAR20,000. Additionally, resident violators will be deported to their home countries and banned from re-entering the Kingdom for a period of 10 years.

The Ministry of Interior has urged all citizens and residents to strictly adhere to Hajj regulations. It calls for cooperation with the competent authorities to ensure the security and safety of the pilgrims. The ministry emphasized that any violation of these regulations will result in the prescribed legal penalties.

The public is encouraged to report any violators of these regulations by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
