Riyadh: The Saudi Falcons Club is implementing an integrated set of regulatory, legal, and financial procedures at the International Falcon Breeders Auction, held at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, through August 25, to safeguard the rights of sellers and buyers, document transactions, and enhance transparency throughout all stages of falcon ownership transfer.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Falcons Club spokesperson Waleed Al-Taweel said the club is making extensive efforts to safeguard the rights of all parties involved in sales transactions. He explained that the sales process begins when the breeder and buyer agree on the price of a falcon, after which they proceed to the sales section to complete the official transaction procedures, which involve several stages designed to ensure data accuracy and the integrity of the contracting process.
Al-Taweel said that following the agreement, the falcon is transferred to the classification committee, which verifies that it falls within the appropriate category and precisely measures its specifications, including size, length, and width, to ensure that the recorded data match the falcon on offer.
He added that the transaction then moves to the legal committee, where the sale procedures are completed with both parties' signatures, documenting the sale and safeguarding the rights of both the seller and the buyer. The transaction is then referred to the finance section, which completes the payment process and ensures the purchase price is transferred from the buyer to the breeder.
The spokesperson noted that the procedures continue with fitting the falcon with a leg band, followed by registration in the club's racing system, allowing its data to be documented and linked to its official records. In the final stage, the buyer is issued an approved exit permit authorizing the falcon's removal through the auction gate after all regulatory procedures have been completed, concluding the sales process through an integrated system that combines organization, accuracy, and protection of rights.
