Industry Ministry Issues 138 New Industrial Licenses in September 2025

Riyadh: The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 138 new industrial licenses during September 2025, while 79 new factories commenced production in the same month, according to a report released by the ministry’s National Center for Industrial and Mining Information. The report, which monitors industrial indicators monthly, indicated that the total investment associated with the new licenses exceeded SAR5.3 billion. These upcoming projects are anticipated to create more than 1,300 job opportunities across the Kingdom.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the investments in the 79 factories that began production during September amounted to SAR1.1 billion, providing an estimated 1,549 new jobs. This data reflects the continued expansion of the Kingdom’s industrial base and the increasing rate at which new facilities are becoming operational. The ministry publishes these key industrial indicators monthly through the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information, enhancing transparency and tracking the growth of industrial activity in the Kingdom.
