IMCTC Concludes ‘Intelligence Analysis’ Program with Participants from 10 Member States

Riyadh: The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) concluded its specialized program titled ‘Intelligence Analysis’ at its headquarters in Riyadh. The five-day program included 20 trainees from 10 member states and is part of the coalition’s initiatives to build capacities and enhance competencies in counterterrorism fields.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the closing ceremony was attended by representatives of member states, experts, and specialists. They reviewed the program’s key topics and outcomes, focusing on developing participants’ analytical and critical thinking skills and enabling them to apply systematic analytical approaches in decision-making processes.

The program covered essential areas, such as the concepts and types of thinking and relevant skills, the characteristics and competencies of an effective intelligence analyst, and the types and methodologies of intelligence analysis. It also explored the relationship between thinking and analysis in supporting security and intelligence decisions.

Practical workshops featured in the program enabled participants to analyze real-world scenarios and apply scientific analytical tools to hypothetical security and intelligence cases. This approach enhanced their ability to use analytical skills to anticipate crises and make data-driven decisions.

The ‘Intelligence Analysis’ program is one of the coalition’s specialized initiatives aimed at developing human capital, boosting capabilities among member states, and promoting expertise exchange to support regional and international security and stability.
