Riyadh: The IFAT Saudi Arabia exhibition opened on Monday at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, under the sponsorship of Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Alfadley.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event, held from January 26 to 28, marks its first edition in the Kingdom and is the largest platform in the Middle East and North Africa dedicated to waste management, environmental, and water sectors. It features broad participation from government entities, local and international companies, and global experts.

On the sidelines of the opening ceremony, several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed between the National Center for Waste Management (MWAN) and relevant entities. These agreements are part of a strategic integration framework aimed at expanding cooperation, enabling partnerships, and building a knowledge ecosystem that reinforces sustainability concepts and supports sector development.
