HRH the Crown Prince Receives Malaysian Prime Minister

Riyadh, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, today at the Royal Court at Al-Yamah Palace in Riyadh.

Official reception ceremonies were held for the Malaysian Prime Minister.

Subsequently, HRH the Crown Prince held formal discussions with Prime Minister Ibrahim.

HRH the Crown Prince warmly welcomed the Malaysian Prime Minister to the Kingdom, while the Prime Minister expressed his delight with the visit and meeting with HRH the Crown Prince.

During their discussion session, they reviewed various aspects of Saudi-Malaysian relations and explored prospects for cooperation in multiple fields, as well as promising opportunities for development. They also discussed regional and international developments, along with efforts related to them, and addressed several matters of common interest.

From the Saudi side, the discussion session was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy; Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the State and Member of the Cabinet; Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; and Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense.

It also attended by the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi; the accompanying minister; the Minister of Investment, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih; and the Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal bin Fadel Al-Ibrahim.

On the Malaysian side, the meeting was attended by Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry, along with several senior officials.
