Health Ministry Secures 126 Agreements at Global Health Exhibition 2025

Riyadh: Under the patronage of Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel and Vice Minister of Health for Planning and Development Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Rumaih, the Ministry of Health successfully signed 126 agreements on the sidelines of the eighth edition of the Global Health Exhibition 2025.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these agreements are part of the ministry’s efforts to advance the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program. This program is a key initiative of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims at building a vibrant society and a thriving economy driven by sustainable innovation and investment in health.

The agreements encompass areas such as innovation, scientific research, and healthcare service development. Notably, an agreement was reached between the Saudi Health Council, King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital and Research Center, and King Saud University to establish a specialized center dedicated to studying and treating the causes of sudden death. Other significant agreements include a memorandum of understanding between the Health Holding Company and Alinma Bank, as well as an agreement between the Ministry of Health and global healthcare technology company Abbott.

The Global Health Exhibition 2025 has been recognized as the Best International Exhibition in the Middle East and Africa for 2025 by the AEO Awards. The event gathers over 2,000 international organizations and 500 speakers from more than 130 countries, offering healthcare professionals opportunities for scientific and professional development through more than 100 discussion sessions and 110 hours of continuing medical education accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

The exhibition acts as a crucial platform for sharing expertise and showcasing the latest medical innovations. It reaffirms the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for health innovation and investment, reflecting the significant transformation underway in Saudi Arabia’s healthcare sector, which is the largest of its kind worldwide.
