The Ministry of Health in the People's Republic of Bangladesh continues its services as part of the Makkah Route Initiative, one of the initiatives of the Ministry of the Interior under the Pilgrim Experience Program. The ministry ensures that pilgrims adhere to health requirements before their arrival, prioritizing their well-being and safety, and facilitating their direct transfer from the initiative hall to their place of residence.

The Ministry of Health works in coordination with the countries benefiting from the initiative to ensure pilgrims' compliance with health requirements. They monitor the global epidemiological situation and issue necessary health guidelines for Hajj.

It is important to note that the Makkah Route Initiative involves the participation of various entities, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Ministry of Health, the Pilgrim Experience Program, the General Directorate of Passports, the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, and Elm Company.
