Makkah: Hajj security forces detained an Egyptian resident for violating Hajj regulations by transporting fellow Egyptian residents through concealed compartments inside a freight vehicle and attempting to enter Makkah and remain there without a Hajj permit. Authorities apprehended them, took legal action, and referred them to the Public Prosecution.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Directorate of Public Security urges all to comply with Hajj regulations and guidelines for the 1447 AH Hajj season and cooperate with relevant authorities to ensure the security and safety of pilgrims. They affirm that violations subject perpetrators to statutory penalties.

The Directorate called for reporting violators by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, Madinah, and Eastern regions, or 999 in other regions of the Kingdom.
