Madinah: The inaugural camel auction in Al-Ghazalah, Hail, has generated over SAR3 million in sales during its first week, attracting more than 15,000 visitors. Located 70 kilometers south of Hail, the event has become a vibrant economic and cultural hub for camel owners, investors, and heritage enthusiasts.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the auction features daily bidding alongside a traditional market with over 100 stalls offering handicrafts, local foods, and livestock supplies. By combining trade with cultural activities, the event aims to bolster the local economy, support camel breeders, and highlight the unique heritage of Al-Ghazalah Governorate.
