Riyadh: Gusty and dust-stirring winds leading to near-zero horizontal visibility are forecasted to affect parts of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Hail, and Northern Borders regions, according to the National Center for Meteorology. Thunderstorms may also occur in parts of these areas. Moderate to heavy thunderstorms, accompanied by hail and gusty winds, are anticipated in parts of Najran, Jazan, and Aseer regions, potentially resulting in flash floods.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the sky will be partly cloudy with scattered thunderstorms and rain showers expected in parts of Al-Baha, Makkah, Riyadh, and Qassim regions. These weather conditions are likely to impact daily activities, with residents advised to exercise caution.
Winds over the Red Sea are predicted to be northerly to northwesterly at speeds of 15-55 km/h in the northern and central parts. In the southern part, winds will shift from southerly to southeasterly to northerly to northwesterly during the night at speeds of 10-28 km/h. Waves in the Red Sea may range from half a meter to two and a half meters, causing the sea to be calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 10-35 km/h. Waves may reach from half a meter to one and a half meters, indicating relatively calm sea conditions.
