Riyadh: Thunderstorms accompanied by hail are anticipated over parts of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions this Sunday. Thunderclouds are also likely to form over the highlands of Madinah, Makkah, and Najran regions, as well as the southern parts of Eastern and Riyadh regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, gusty, dust-stirring winds are expected to sweep through these regions, while the weather will remain hot to extremely hot in parts of eastern Saudi Arabia. There is also a possibility of fog forming at night and during the early morning hours over coastal areas, along with parts of Tabuk and Madinah regions.

The forecast for the Red Sea indicates northwesterly to southwesterly winds at speeds of 10-50 km/h in the southern part, with waves ranging from half a meter to over two meters, resulting in conditions varying from calm to choppy. Meanwhile, in the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds of 10-25 km/h, with waves reaching between half a meter and one meter, suggesting a calm sea.
