Riyadh: Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan has urged Muslims to maximize righteous deeds and worship, such as prayer, charity, fasting, and remembrance of Allah, during the blessed first 10 days of Dhu Al-Hijjah, noting that deeds during this period are uniquely beloved to Allah.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Al-Fawzan highlighted the immense merit of fasting on the Day of Arafah for non-pilgrims, which expiates the sins of two years. Additionally, he reminded those offering a sacrifice (Udhhiyah) to refrain from cutting their hair, nails, or skin from the start of the month until the sacrifice is completed.
