Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi condemned in the strongest possible terms the hostile attack targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via drones launched from Iraqi airspace. He underlined that this assault represents a flagrant violation of regional security and stability. He pointed out that it reflects a continued escalatory approach that undermines safety and threatens vital facilities, infrastructure, and the security of the entire region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi underscored that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an indivisible part of the security of the GCC member states. "The council countries stand as one with the Kingdom in all measures it undertakes to maintain its security and stability, as well as to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity," Albudaiwi said.
