New york: Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly. The meeting focused on enhancing the already strong relations between the two sides. Both officials reviewed ways to develop their cooperation, guided by the Joint Action Plan 2022-2026, and discussed recent progress on the Free Trade Agreement signed in 2023.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the two leaders exchanged views on the latest regional developments, particularly the serious violations by Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people in Gaza and other Palestinian territories. They also discussed the broader impact on security and stability in the Middle East.
