Riyadh: In Jazan Region Equestrianism is more than a sport; it is a deep-rooted heritage that strengthens the Kingdom’s national identity, particularly during National Day celebrations. This tradition, which symbolizes dignity and courage, has a long history, dating back to the unification of the Kingdom by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud. Today, it continues to play a vital role in fostering national pride through community events and competitions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, equestrian activities in Jazan are growing, with numerous championships and training courses to develop skills and raise awareness of the sport. The Fursan Show Jumping Association is a key player, offering specialized programs and advanced courses to train riders and enhance their technical and physical abilities.
