Mecca: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has recorded a significant increase in the use of its digital services with nearly 5 million beneficiaries since the beginning of 1447 AH.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the figures, reported through the presidency's general information technology administration, are part of ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation and enrich the experience of the two holy mosques' visitors.
Al-Qasid Gate recorded 350,668 users, the presidency noted, while the official website surpassed 2,658,043 users. In addition, live broadcasts of translated sermons from the two holy mosques were viewed 336,366 times, totaling 330 hours of translation.
Statistics showed that 'The Two Holy Mosques' Message' platform recorded 1,534,697 beneficiaries. Meanwhile, interactive screens within the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque recorded 51,563 beneficiaries, with a total of 5,248 operating hours. The number of downloaded materials across the platforms reached 364,933.
"Maqraa Al-Haramain' platform recorded 44,100 users, the presidency noted. Total operating hours of digital services exceeded 5,578 hours.
The presidency said these indicators reflect the success of its digital ecosystem in reaching a wide audience of visitors and providing reliable religious content in multiple languages. These efforts enhance religious awareness and help enrich the spiritual experience at the two holy mosques, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
