First Annual General Meeting of MENA-ARIN Kicks Off in Jeddah

Jeddah: The first annual general meeting of the Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA-ARIN) kicked off yesterday in Jeddah Governorate. The meeting is being hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority. It features wide participation from member states of the Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF), alongside international and regional organizations and peer asset recovery networks.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this meeting is a turning point in regional and international efforts to combat corruption. It marks the official launch of the new regional network, which has established the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the headquarters for its permanent general secretariat. This event signals the start of a new phase of institutional cooperation and reinforces the Kingdom’s leading role in supporting the integrity ecosystem and building effective international partnerships.
