Riyadh: The Special Forces for Environmental Security arrested a citizen for violating environmental regulations by grazing 80 camels in areas where grazing is prohibited within the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve. Legal procedures were taken against him. According to Saudi Press Agency, the forces stated that the penalty for camel grazing is a fine of SAR500 per camel. They urged the public to report any violations against the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and 999 or 996 in other regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality, with no liability on the reporter.
