Environment Ministry in Al-Jouf Launches Inspection Campaigns to Ensure Market and Slaughterhouse Readiness for Ramadan

Riyadh: The Al-Jouf branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has launched field inspection campaigns targeting public markets and slaughterhouses in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH. The campaigns aim to strengthen monitoring efforts, raise awareness, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with health, environmental, and regulatory standards, guaranteeing the readiness of facilities to serve consumers during the holy month.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these efforts form part of the ministry's broader plan to enhance field oversight and achieve the highest food safety standards. This initiative aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve the quality of life and strengthen food safety across the Kingdom.
