Kuala lumpur: Trainees from the Energy and Water Academy (EWA) secured a major international achievement by winning 26 medals and awards at the International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2026) in Malaysia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the academy's 16-member team competed against more than 1,000 global innovators and 638 student teams from 27 nations. They were recognized for their technical maturity across inventions in energy, technology, and sustainability.

EWA CEO Engineer Tariq Al-Shamrani affirmed that this success reflects the strategic human capital transformation underway within the Kingdom. He emphasized that Saudi youth are fully equipped to drive a globally competitive knowledge economy in direct alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
