Makkah: The Ekram Al Joud Association for serving pilgrims has provided services to more than half a million Umrah performers through the hospitality and welcome center in Makkah as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance visitors' experience to the two holy mosques and to offer quality services that support their comfort and reassurance during their spiritual journey.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the center is one of the service initiatives launched by the association to receive pilgrims and provide an integrated package of organizational and hospitality services in a well-equipped environment with modern facilities, reflecting values of generosity and care for visitors to the Grand Mosque, and creating an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility for visitors and Umrah performers.
CEO of the association Dr. Ahmed Al-Matrafi said the services offered at the center include Iftar meals, hospitality and water distribution, as well as reception and guidance services, in addition to several supporting services that facilitate guests' movement and organize their reception to ensure a smoother, more convenient experience.
Dr. Al-Matrafi said these efforts are an extension of the strong support provided by the Kingdom's leadership for serving pilgrims, and its continued commitment to creating an integrated approach for government and non-profit entities, enhancing the quality of services offered to visitors to the two holy mosques, and aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
He also praised the efforts of volunteers and staff at the center, who contribute with a spirit of dedication and responsibility, embodying the values of solidarity and benevolence that characterize Saudi society in serving visitors to the Grand Mosque.
