Dust-Stirring Winds and Rain Forecasted for Multiple Regions in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Weather conditions across various regions of Saudi Arabia are expected to change significantly on Saturday. According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted dust-stirring winds and the possibility of moderate to heavy rain and hail in several regions, including Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, Eastern, and Northern Borders. Additionally, light to moderate rain is anticipated in parts of the Najran Region. There is also the potential for fog formation during the night and early morning hours in the western and southwestern highlands of the Kingdom, which may affect visibility. Winds over the Red Sea are expected to vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds blowing at speeds of 20-40 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southwesterly to southeasterly winds at speeds of 10-50 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights could range from half a meter to over two meters, resulting in calm to choppy sea conditions. In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to northerly winds are forecasted to blow at speeds of 20-45 km/h in the northern and central parts, with waves ranging from one to over two meters, leading to calm to choppy seas.
