Dust-Stirring Winds and Light Rain Expected Across Several Saudi Regions

Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds are expected to sweep through various regions of Saudi Arabia, with light rain predicted in parts of the western highlands.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology forecasts that regions such as Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah, as well as parts of Riyadh, Madinah, Qassim, Hail, Al-Jouf, and Northern Borders, will experience these winds. The winds are anticipated to extend to the northern parts of the Eastern Region.

Light rain is expected to grace sections of the western highlands, with fog predicted to form in the Al-Baha, Aseer, and Jazan regions. These weather patterns could affect visibility and travel conditions in the mentioned areas.

The Red Sea will witness northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern and central areas at speeds ranging from 15-45 km/h, while the southern part will experience southeasterly to southerly winds at speeds of 15-30 km/h. The sea conditions are expected to vary from calm to choppy, with waves ranging from half a meter to over two and a half meters.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly winds are forecasted at speeds of 10-25 km/h, with waves reaching from half a meter to one meter, maintaining a calm sea state.
