Crown Prince Camel Festival Marks 4,000th Round Milestone

Riyadh: The Crown Prince Camel Festival reached a historic milestone today as competitions surpassed 4,000 rounds since its inception in 2018, with the milestone round claimed by a Jordanian-owned camel during the Arab rounds at the Taif Camel Racing Track.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ten Arab rounds saw strong participation from Jordanian, Egyptian, and Sudanese camels, with Jordan securing four victories, while Egypt and Sudan each won three rounds.

The festival's total rounds are expected to reach 4,050 by the conclusion of the eighth edition on September 13, with total prizes exceeding SAR50 million.
