Istanbul: The Cluster2 Airports company, which operates 22 airports across various regions of Saudi Arabia, received 36 accreditations and three global awards from Airports Council International (ACI) in 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the achievements were announced during the presentation of accreditation certificates and awards at the ACI Airport Experience Summit held in Istanbul. The accreditations included 18 airports receiving the accessibility accreditation (level 1), one of the specialized international certifications that measures airports' readiness to implement accessibility requirements, ensuring a more inclusive travel environment for passengers with disabilities in accordance with international best practices and standards.

In passenger experience, 18 airports received the customer experience accreditation (level 3), reflecting their success in integrating customer experience principles into their strategies and operational processes, and in adopting innovative practices that improve service quality and provide a more efficient and distinguished travel experience.

Three airports also won global awards based on the results of the 2025 passenger satisfaction survey under the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program issued by ACI. Arar International Airport was named the best airport in the Middle East in the category of airports serving fewer than two million passengers. Bisha Airport was named the best airport in the Middle East for ease of passenger journey in the category of airports serving fewer than two million passengers. Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Tabuk was named the best airport in the Middle East for departure experience in the category of airports serving between two and five million passengers.
